Colorado is not my home state but it is, as I lovingly refer to it, my “chosestate”. Colorado is not where I was born - it is where I choose and am blessed to live!
I was born and raised in rural Nebraska and it was there that my entrepreneurial spirit and hard work ethic were forged! At sixteen, I met my best friend and future
husband, Brett, on a youth group ski trip to Colorado. We moved as young newlyweds to Minneapolis, MN to attend North Central University and pursue degrees in Children and Family Ministry.
Time management became a proficient and necessary skill for the two of us as we balanced a full time class schedule and a full time work schedule as servers at a nearby restaurant. This diligence paid off as we were both able to graduate at the top of our class with Bachelor Degree’s and no student loan debt!
Upon graduation, we moved to Seattle and expanded our family by four paws. Our adorable beagle puppy is aptly named “Uncle Gary” (it is a great story, just ask me sometime). This wonderful dog is a snuggle king, hogs all the covers and absolutely loves adventure!
Even though we enjoyed living in downtown Seattle and the recreational opportunities of the mountains and the sea, Brett and I have always been Coloradans at heart! In 2011, the three of us moved to Loveland, Colorado and that was it, we knew we were home! A passion for real estate had been growing in my heart for years and now that we had found a place to put down roots, the timing was perfect for me to start my real estate career!
I was licensed in 2012 and successfully grew my business. This effort led to a great rookie year and I was honored to be named the Rookie of the Year for my real estate office and a Rookie of the Year Finalist for the Loveland Berthoud Association of Realtors.
If you ask me what my philosophy is when it comes to working in real estate and representing my clients, it is quite simple. My job is to serve and thankfully, I love it! It seems that no matter what stage of life I am in, I have always been in a position of serving.
From my many years in the restaurant world working as a server, to my ten plus years of working and serving the many kids and families of my local church or to where my life is now, serving my clients and representing their goals and diligently working for their best interest. Serving is a joy and privilege and I am honored to be able to do so in my local community. I am blessed to have many repeat clients and referrals which allow me to continue to work and serve my clients everyday.
Outside of the office, Brett, Uncle Gary and myself love to spend our time in the mountains and in all seasons! From backpacking in the summer to snowshoeing in the winter - the mountains are calling and we will go! We are also very active in our local Crossfit gym. It is an amazing way to stay fit and partner with others to build a healthier community!
Now you know a little about me and I want to know more about you! How can I help you and your family achieve your goals? Are you looking to buy your first home? Invest? Do you want less time commuting and more time with your family? I want to help! I live by this incredible quote from Zig Ziglar, “Stop selling. Start helping.” So my question to you is... how can I help you today? Let’s get together for a coffee and talk more about it!
